Scheduling, plans, notes, claims — one chart.

Pinnacle scheduled in one tool, built exercise plans in another, charted in a third, and billed insurance separately. Mewayz unified the chart and saved $12,720 a year — plan of care, notes, and claims on one record across both clinics.

The before — the plan of care was scattered.

Physical therapy lives on the plan of care, and Pinnacle's was split across four tools. “Scheduling, the home-exercise program, the clinical note, and the insurance claim were four separate places,” says Marcus Vell, Clinic Director. “The claim and the note that justified it didn't live together, so denials were hard to fight.”

Across two clinics, a patient seen at both was effectively two patients, and continuity of care suffered for it.

The pain in numbers

$1,060/month across four tools. Notes and claims stored apart. Denials that were expensive to substantiate.

The switch — one chart, both clinics.

Pinnacle moved charts and scheduling first, then connected billing, with the exercise programs living on the same record. A patient is now known at both locations.

“The first denial we overturned in two minutes because the note was right there on the claim — that paid for the switch,” Vell says.

The unlock — care that travels.

With scheduling, plans, notes, and claims unified, the practice tightened up:

Why denials dropped

When the clinical note and the claim are the same record, substantiating a billed visit is instant. Denials that used to be written off as too costly to fight now get overturned in minutes.

The new normal — therapists treating, not charting twice.

“My therapists stopped entering the same visit in four places,” Vell says. “They treat more and chart less, and the billing takes care of itself. That's the version of this job people trained for.”
